while accepting a file transfer adium still crashs. this bug is being here since the 0.85 version.

i was hopping that in this version this bug would be corrected. oh well, i'll be here expecting...

i think this kind of problem should be at the top level of priority, cause they're essencial to the users.

The comments here are not for support requests. While your comment was not entire "off-topic", I've seen a lot more that are simple support requests. Perhaps we should put a little blurb saying what kinds of comments should and shouldn't be posted, and where support requests *should* go (i.e. trac)?
 

So, new beta comes with libgaim 2.0!? I was wondering because that would make a lot of features better I guess.
 

It would be about halfway in between alpha and gamma, yes?

0.8x will not have libgaim 2 -- gaim 2 isn't released or ready.

I still cant use AIM with AdiumX latest version wich is v0.86.It all works fine in iChat, but AdiumX still sux!
I know that im not alone with this problem, and i really wonder why it is not working, or why nothing have been done to correct this.
As far as i know both iChat and AdiumX uses the exact same AIM network and settings.I find this really weird, and it pisses me of now!
Im on 10.4.3.
Fix it already!
 

Trac is down atm so no none of you can download it, nor can I. To the devs though, I know this isn't the right place to discuss the beta...so, are we getting the beta forum back?
 

Trac is back up, though we're still working through some server issues. Beta forum re-enabled -- thanks for pointing that out.

woa...easy buddy...my aim account worx perfectly fine on adiumx...but seriously no need to get testy with the adiumx team...chill your tits man...
 

i must concur (in a considerably more moderate tone) with freezy tit man. people i know use aim for it's ability to direct connect and file transfer better than most protocols. i have never had a successful direct connect or file transfer in AIM using adiumx. it might be a good idea to step back and think what makes each protocol unique and make sure their respective forte is well supported.
 

I'm thinking file transfer might be a LibGaim problem and not really under Adium's developers' control. Is this true?
 

yes, i am the anonymous from prior (2:11PM) and i sheepishly retract my earlier statement.

it should be addressed in gaim 2 coming out soon.(see blog prior)
