I've added the AIM soundset and removed Aquatech soundset from the default build. You can download the Aquatech soundset here if you're so inclined - a single double click will, as with the other Adium files, install it for you and you can then delete the original.

We've got a 'Show offline contacts' menu item in tomorrow's binary ... finally :-D
This means that it's also safe to remove the contact list editor window. All your contact list editing should be done directly on the list. Now that we can see offline contacts this should work really nice. :-)

Actually, that cosmetic issue with the contact list is pretty annoying.
I've pulled it again :-)

When/if you create your trepia account on a wintendo, please set your icon and fill in your profile there. It should save it server side, or at least that is what I have found in my limited testing.
There is also an issue with it giving an error every once in a while. We are aware of this. It happens in gaim as well. It disconnects you if you use trepia via gaim, and also with adium. Adium luckily reconnects when it disconnects.

We've got a new service in our repertoire. :) Trepia via libgaim is now available. You'll need to make an account via the official client, which is windows-only, to use it... it works quite nicely, complete with buddy image support. Profiles aren't in yet.
Note that Trepia is part of gaim CVS but not officially supported (it does not build by default with gaim installations, for example) and therefore may not be perfect. Cool stuff, though.

I touched more files than you with my huge optimization of the day! Hah! :)
[That's my 47 files to Adam's 42 files in a single commit, for those of you keeping score at home].

That's cruel and unusual punishment, sir. We're going to have to lock you away.

OCD struck and I took the first half of my time for lunch today to fix the stupid thing. NSImage should die a horrible, painful death of Economics 100 lecture.

Your dock icon will sometimes be upside down in Friday's binary. This is a known bug and will hopefully be resolved soon. :)

Interested in a piece of history? Rename your ~/Library/Application Support/Adium 2.0 to "Adium 2.0-old" before loading this gem, 'cause 2004 preferences just don't like to play with 2003 preferences.

Beware, current binary has a nasty bug where it crashes if you use the iTunes Integration plugin and don't have iTunes running.
So if you use it for your profile, make sure iTunes is always running, at least until this is fixed.
Thanks for your patience.
[Update] Already fixed in source, will be in tomorrow's binary.

Tomorrow's binary will contain the new contact list code. Please report any crashes, bugs, strange behavior you experience :-)
The areas of interest are:
- Add contact menu item
- Add group menu item
- Delete selection menu item
- Re-ordering of contacts and groups directly on the contact list (If you're in manual order mode)
- Ability to de-group contacts, and to create groups within groups
We've also changed the behavior of the 'source' account menus (For those with multiple accounts on the same service), and a few other areas related to contacts.
The 'Contact list editor' window will be removed in time. Please use the inline editing functions whenever possible. No bug reports for the contact list editor window please! :-)
A few notes:
- Your list changes are applied server-side! Keep this in mind and please backup your contact lists before playing.
- Groups are always visible at the moment, even when they contain no online contacts. This is temporary.
- Groups cannot be moved into each-other yet. However, you can create nested groups by creating a new group named like 'Friends:School' or 'Family:Old'.
- There is currently no way to edit offline contacts on the contact list. This is temporary. You can delete offline contacts at the moment using the list editor window.
- Icons are not being loaded from the address book. We are investigating a fix to this issue.

The binary hasn't been updating since the 3rd due to a compiling error... An -actual- February 6th binary and an appropriate changelog should be up in a bit.

If you have an Orkut account, you can join the Adium community. If you don't have Orkut yet, You should ask a friend who does to invite you.
